Established in 1978 in Tokyo, PYRAMID FILM INC has been producing quality and award-winning TV spots for the Japan market since our start 30 years ago. Our staff of over a hundred dedicated professionals are divided into 5 separate film production departments, each able to operate independently on different projects but also able to work and coordinate together depending on the project requirements. In addition, our company has specialty departments in the following fields: production services, creative services, post-production and FX, CGI design, and web design, all of which can work together as a comprehensive team. The following is a brief introduction to our various Divisions.

Our International Communications Division is a team of bilingual producers and production managers who work often with internationally-known directors and production companies for filming in Japan. We offer full production services for directors and companies wishing to film in Japan in all media, with a host of bilingual technical crew available for any project. In addition, we often take our Japanese projects abroad, working with directors and production companies from around the world.

Our Creative Services Division consists of a select group of directors and creative personnel specializing in TV commercials, as well as in a range of other formats from promotional videos to short films. In addition, we have 3 very special and unique creative artists involved in special projects in animation, character design, full-length features and music. Their works are featured on this website. Our directors are highly-motivated and always full of fresh and cutting-edge ideas. All are available for work outside Japan.

Yuko Ichimura

Our Post-Production Services consist of a full staff of technicians and a complete range of facilities and equipment providing all resources necessary for telecine, offline/online editing, and sound design. Separately, we have a team of artists and technicians comprising our CG Division providing in-house support for our producers in CGI, animation and VFX needs.
